Hydra Homesteads is a small estate of two beautifully renovated homes set on a gentle hill overlooking Kamini Harbour about a two minute walk from Castello Beach and restaurant. It offers tranquility, charm, luxurious comfort and flexibility for a couple or for up to ten people to share.

Residences
Two holiday houses either side of a shared top terrace, offering spacious luxury accommodation for up to ten guests. Trina provides two floors with two double bedrooms and a separate ground floor double bedroom apartment. Nicaela has two floors with two double bedrooms. Please note that because Trina and Nicaela share the outside space and access, they are not available separately.

For couples who are coming to Hydra to get married, or indeed for any celebration, Hydra Homesteads is ideal to recommend for family and guests attending your event. Its closeness to the popular wedding party locations of Castello and Kodylenia, and with easy paths and steps to negotiate means your guests will arrive looking and feeling as good as they did when they set out.
As well as the spacious interiors, Hydra Homesteads also has lots of big terraces, courtyards and balconies so there's plenty of room to spread out or come together. As a wedding guest house it's got it all if you want to arrange a bit of guest hospitlity. Speak to Katerina to make arrangements if you want to organise a get-to-gether!
Concierge Services
What makes us different is that we include our helpful concierge service in the price of your house rental. We can help you make wonder holiday memories. And this includes optional, free Greek lessons for any or all guests staying at the Homestead for an hour or two each day!
Our friendly and capable house manager, Katerina, speaks English, Greek and German fluently. She will be on hand throughout your stay whether you want extra house-keeping, some shopping or to arrange many other activities such as guided tours, cooking lessons, yoga, horse-trekking, fishing, boat excursions, etc. for you to make the best of your Hydra holiday.
While all the arrangements are included in the price of your rental booking at Hydra Homesteads, you will need to pay the direct cost for your shopping and activities. Katerina will negotiate the best possible price for you though.
Facilities
Our residences at Hydra Homesteads are set up to a very high standard with all the appliances and fittings to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
- Both houses have new Air-conditioning systems throughout the houses, which is an absolute must for Hydra summers.
- Wifi throughout.
- Both houses have new stainless steel window screens.
- 2 fully equipped Kitchens all with full-size appliances including dishwashers
- Both houses have clothes-washing machines, and Trina’s also has a dryer.
- Each of the 5 double bedrooms has its own designated shower room and Trina's has a full size bath as well. There are also baby cots that can be put up in any of the bedrooms as necessary.
- Most rooms open to a balcony or terrace where you can enjoy spectacular views.
- And for off-season stays, there are plenty of duvets, blankets and the pleasure of a real fire to keep you cosy and snug.
- We also include hairdryers along with bathroom toiletries.
Location
Hydra Homesteads are down low, close to the sea, making it easy to come and go 24 hours a day, which is a Hydra must. Around the picturesque Kamini harbour a gentle 5 minute stroll from the homestead, you'll find Theo at the Pirofani, Christina's Taverna, and heading out of the harbour, there's the balcony restaurant, Kodylenia, for gorgeous sunset dining. Heading west from the homestead, the beach at Kamini is only a 3 minute stroll and at the back of the beach is the popular Castello Bar and Restaurant.

Base price 1-6 guests €1400 (€1250) per night
Additional guests to a maximum of 10, please add:
€200 (€175) per night per guest
Cot for baby (0-18 months) €25 per night

Conditions
Your booking is transferable but we cannot be held responsible for finding replacement guests.
Strictly no smoking inside and no pets.
Gatherings may only be arranged with prior notice at point of booking.
Parents are responsible for the safety and well being of children.

Payments
20% prepayment to secure booking, plus
30% prepayment 180 days (6 months approx.) prior to arrival, plus
50% balance due 90 days (3 months approx.) prior to arrival.
Cancellations
179 days (6 months approx.) prior to arrival date = full refund *
180-89 days (6-3 months approx.) prior = 50% refund *
90 days (3 months approx.) prior to arrival = Zero refund.
