Hello, I am Manos Loudaros your multilingual, fully qualified and experienced open sea (MSc) captain. I am available for:
- Standard sea transportation journeys from Hydra port to the sea villages and beaches of Hydra.
- For private hire for longer journeys such as to Piraeus, Poros, Spetses, etc.
- For journeys across to the mainland.
- And for visits to Hydra's natural unspoiled beaches. I have sunbeds, snorkeling equipment, freezer boxes, umbrellas and excellent onboard music system.
- Location work for films and documentaries.
- On board Camera and Video Equipment.

The Neso is one of the last original Hydra water taxis that is quick and nippier than most of the sea taxis you will find on the water around Hydra. Think of the Hydra sea taxi as being a gondola of Venice, they're the best way to get to the coves and villages along Hydra's coastline and further afield.
In addition to the standard destinations such as Kamini, Mandraki, Vlychos and all the destinations that the water/sea taxis of Hydra offer, I also take groups to the natural beaches both on the island and on the mainland. So if you want a day out on a boat, please call me.
If you want to visit one of the natural uncommercial beaches, such as Kaoumithi, Nisiza, Limnioniza or Green beaches of Hydra, I have plenty of ice boxes and space for you to bring your beach picnic. The shallow hull of Neso allows me to get right in close, there is a diving platform and it's easy to climb back on board after your swim.

Location Work for Films & Documentary Makers
I am also available for hire to makers of short films and documentaries. Please enquire if you have a special event to film such as a wedding or beach party to capture from the water or you are making a TV program and need coastal scenery for your programme.
