The house combines historical architecture blended with the convenience of modern living, all the while enjoying breathtaking views of the sea and interesting surroundings.
Located on the border with Hydra Town and the historical area known as Kiafa.

Air-conditioning is on both floors (the traditional thick stone walls and small windows that catch the breeze, keeps the house naturally air-conditioned).

The ground floor of 1620 Hydra is where you'll find the most original architecture. There is an independent entrance from the street which means guests can come and go without disturbing anyone sleeping upstairs. This is the oldest part of the house dating from the 1600s. The ceilings are lower and of traditional beam and reed construction. And in the sitting room you'll see the original baking oven next to the stone wellhead of the freshwater cisterna that would in its day have been the only supply of water to the house. Today the water is used for the abundant garden though!
