Alexis Veroucas was born in Athens in 1968.
In 1985 he attended the CERULEUM graphic arts workshop in Lausanne. From 1986 to 1988 he studied Art History at the Institut d'Art et Archéologie, Sorbonne, Paris IV. From 1988 to 1993 he studied painting (Leonardo Cremonini workshop) and lithography (Abraham Hadad workshop) at the Higher School of Fine Arts (ENSB-A) in Paris.
