Mycrown Art Collection

Sophia De La Chovel, of the family who also own the Brooks Bros., My Ydra shop on the other side of the harbour, opened her MyCrown  Art Collection on the East corner of Hydra Harbour on Friday 18th June 2021.

The ground floor space has been refurbished with good lighting to display the work of various Greek artists which  I was assured will be added to and changed on a regular basis.

Rather intriguing, it is also possible to buy cushion covers made from repurposed shirts. Owners of shirts that they  no longer wear can bring them to the store to have the fabric remade as cushions, table napkins or mats that can  be embroidered or not as you prefer.

The friendly  staff will be waiting to greet you during normal Hydra shop opening hours. They talk knowledgeably about the artists on display and the works are available to purchase.
