A few years before his death (2016), Panagiotis Tetsis donated his home & atelier to the National Historical Museum’s Historical and Ethnological Society in 2007 so it could be turned into a museum to showcase his studio and work. As Hydra's most beloved artist, his home and atelier, now open to the public is a permanent acknowledgement of his popularity not just as an important Greek artist but also one of Hydra's most inspirational artistic influencers and deeply missed friend.
